Green Deal: The Facts

Photovoltaic array, as could be installed under the Green DealPhotovoltaic array at Narec Distributed Energy

Narec Distributed Energy are offering a free seminar to North East based small businesses to help them understand the Green Deal.

The Green Deal is the new government’s initiative to support the implementation of energy efficiency measures to households and businesses. It was launched in October 2012, and from the 28th of January measures can be applied to homes.

This morning seminar is aimed at companies who are interested in getting involved in the Green Deal, but want to know the facts before making a decision.

There’s a lot of information out there on the Green Deal, so what we’ve tried to do is cut out all the clutter and develop a seminar that gives you the hard facts that reveal how the scheme will work for installers, assessors and the customer. It will also cover how companies can get involved in the scheme and the landscape of the market.

Our guest speaker Colin Robinson, CEO of Energy Friend, will be presenting on his experiences as a qualified Green Deal Assessor.

Narec Distributed Energy is an independent organisation that has no agenda for selling any Green Deal related products or training. We are simply here to provide you with the facts, so that you can make an informed decision for your business.
